Wayland Lee Ezell 
Dec. 31, 1937 - Feb. 16, 2005



Wayland L. Ezell, 67, passed away on February 16, 2005. Born December 31, 1937 
in French Camp, CA. He was a resident of Copperopolis, CA for 6 years and a 
previous resident of St. Cloud, MN. He was a Botany Professor for 40 years 
who once taught at St. Cloud State University in MN. He was a member of 
California Native Plant Society, and Teaching Opportunities for Professional 
Scientists.
Survived by wife, Yvette Villeneuve-Ezell of Copperopolis, CA; sons, David 
Allen Ezell of Summerfield, NC, Charles Lee Ezell of Los Angeles, CA; 
daughters, Elizabeth Marie Ezell of Oakdale, MN; stepson, Jerry Bruce 
of Los Angeles; brother, Richard Ezell of Stockton, CA; sister, Elaine McGuire 
of Escalon, CA; and 4 grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at the Copperopolis Armory on Monday, February 
21, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. No visitation. Private inurnment.
