Orville Shelton 
Orville Glen Shelton Jr., 61, of Lodi, died Feb. 17 in Lodi. He was born June 
4, 1943, in Indianapolis, Ind.

Mr. Shelton was employed as a truck driver in the area for many years. He 
enjoyed fishing, dancing and working on the family farm. He also enjoyed 
getting others involved in activities and making sure everyone had a good time. 

He is survived by his sons, Paul Shelton, of Lathrop, Glen Shelton, of Pine 
Grove, and Tim Shelton, of Lodi; brothers, John Shelton, of Citrus Heights, and 
Dan Shelton, of Clear Lake; sister, Rosemarie Chavez, of Pioneer; mother, 
Genevieve Bibi Shelton, of Stockton; and 12 grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont 
Ave., Lodi. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, and from 9 
a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
