Jessie C. Castro, 98, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2005. She was born 
June 8, 1906 in Zacapo, Michoacan, Mexico. 
She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent B. Castro, Sr. Mother of the late 
Manuel Arteago, Vincent Castro, Jr., Joe Arteago and daughter, Julia C. 
Valverde. 
Loving mother of Frances Ramirez, Nat Arteago, Charlie Arteago, Rosie Almazon, 
Mary C. Perez, Toni Castro, Jerry Castro, Jessie C. Terrones, Jack Castro, and 
Amparo Castro. Grandmother of 39 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren, 34 
great-great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in 
the Evergreen Chapel of Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Lane, Lodi. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd at Cherokee Memorial Funeral 
Home, 831 E. Industrial Way, Lodi from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
