Neva Clemence 
Neva May Clemence, 88, of Lodi, died Feb. 20 in Lodi. She was born Neva May 
Spears on May 25, 1916, in Arkansas.

Mrs. Clemence moved to California at the age of 20, and settled in Lodi. 

She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Smith, of North Carolina, Donna 
McKennon, of New Mexico, Cathy Allen, of Morgan Hill, and Beverly Jean Racine, 
of Grass Valley; son, William Clemence, of Redwood City; brothers, Lee and 
Wayne Spears, of California; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 29 at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at Rocha's Mortuary, 
215 S. School St.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Aid Society, 105 S. 
Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240.

Rocha's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
