He was born June 25, 1922, in Hurley, Wis. Mr. Hannula was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy as a Second Class Machinist's Mate. He was employed by Ampex as a machinist for 20 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Affairs. He is survived by his brothers, John J. Hannula, of Lodi, Roy Hannula, of Chicaco, Ill.; and sisters, Martha Siro, of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Aili Lundquist, of Denver, Colo. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., Lodi, with the Rev. Leo Duncan of Westside Assembly in Lodi officiating. Committal will be held in Hurley, Wis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Aid Society, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240. Rocha's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
