Bobby Jean Wesley 
Jan. 20. 1928 - Feb. 19, 2005



Bob Wesley, 77, of Stockton passed away Saturday, Febru- ary 19, 2005. He was 
born in Anson, Texas in 1928. He moved to California in 1942. He was a retired 
salesman. He had a passion for country music all his life and was a great lead 
singer, with different bands. He wrote, sang and recorded several songs. Many 
of his songs were recorded by various artist throughout the years. He recently 
transferred 7 of his songs to a CD and we now have them in his memory. He was a 
true entertainer on stage, television, radio and at home with his family and 
friends. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed houseboating and fishing with 
his wife Dorotha. Playing poker with family and friends and frequenting the 
casino's was also a favorite pass time. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Dorotha and his twin sister, 
Billie Rene Paullas of Newberry Springs, CA. Also, survived by his daughter, 
Jeanie Roessert and husband Al of Stockton; daughter, Debbie Medaries and 
husband Mike of Greenwood, Louisiana; son, Danny Wesley and wife, Brenda of 
Norco, CA; stepson's Terry Whiteside and wife, Vickie of Lodi, CA and Mike 
Whiteside and wife, Renae of Lodi, CA. Grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather 
of 12. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara, granddaughter, Liberty 
and a stepson, Don. He also had several nieces, nephews, family members and 
friends who loved and will miss him indeed. 
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. 
at 1906 S. Sinclair, Stockton followed by a potluck.
