Mr. Gallego was a native of Bakersfield, CA and lived for over 50 years in French Camp, CA and was an active member of S.T.A.R.S. He enjoyed traveling, camping and most of all his family. He is survived by wife, Ida Belle Gallego, of French Camp, CA; Martha Goulet and Sam Gallego of Escalon, CA; Anita Barboza and Carrie Copple of Manteca, CA; and Edith Gallego of Windsor, CA; and seventeen grand-children and one great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by daughter, Emma Gallego. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 25th at the Good Shepard Mission in French Camp. An additional Memorial will be held Saturday, February 26th at the First Baptist Church of Stockton at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin: 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204.
