Thompson Aug. 3, 1917 — May 17, 2004 Services will be private for longtime Tracy resident Margaret O. (Stormo) Thompson, 86, who died Monday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. Born in Marysville, Wash., Mrs. Thompson lived in Tracy 50 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Sons of Norway, the West Side Pioneers and Squab Producers of California, and a past PTA member for New Jerusalem School. She liked to quilt and sew and was a great cook, and she loved to entertain family and friends. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Thompson; three sons, Dennis Thompson, and his wife, Marilyn, Gary Thompson, and his wife, Kathy, and Steve Thompson, and his wife, Judy, all of Stockton; six grandchildren, Kevin, Christine, Anna, Tiffany and Alaina Thompson, all of Stockton, and Bryan Thompson of Long Beach; and four siblings, Deana Kerns of Kenmore, Wash., Emmet Stormo of Everett, Wash., Christine Lyons of Marysville, Wash., and Sigmund Stormo of Lake Stevens, Wash. Interment will be private. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Thompson’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1604 Ford Ave., Modesto 95350.
