Curtis R. Lacy

  Curtis R. Lacy, 55 of Lodi, passed away March 1, 2005. He was born in 
Sacramento, CA on October 11, 1949.
  He attended Rio Vista High School, where he was active in sports. He worked 
as a groundskeeper at Lodi High School for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time 
with his family, golfing, fishing and going to the movies with his friends.
  His mother Lucille Lacy preceded him in death.
  He is survived by his father and stepmother, Ted and Beverly Lacy of Lodi; 
brother and sister-in-law Craig and Diana Lacy and sister Chere Peterson of Rio 
Vista. He also leaves his stepbrother Scott Newton of Reno and Cindy Newton of 
Walnut Grove and was preceded in death by stepsister, Sheryl Newton. He leaves 
his loving nieces and nephews, Jason Lacy, Carrie Hernandez, Randy, Carli and 
Crystal Peterson of Rio Vista, Erick Lacy and Rena Rosewall of Lodi, Scott Lacy 
of Downey, ID. He also leaves 16 great nieces and nephews.
  A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the residence of 
Craig Lacy, 166 N. 5th St., Rio Vista. Inurnment will be held at the Masonic 
and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Rio Vista, CA. C..E. Stewart Chapel is in charge of 
the arrangements.
