James Garecht 
James Robert Garecht, 70, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died March 2 in 
Stockton. He was born Nov. 30, 1934, in Richardton, N.D.

Mr. Garecht moved to Victor at the age of six with his family. He graduated 
from Lodi High School in 1953 and then served in the U.S. Army from 1953-57. 

He married Ronna Gloss in 1955, and they settled in Lodi in 1956. He was self 
employed as a glass glazier for 46 years.




James Garecht 
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed 
spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ronna Garecht, of Stockton; daughters, Rhonda 
Duncan, Ranai Jones and Brenda Orozco, all of Lodi; son, James Garecht Jr., of 
Lodi; brothers, Ted Garecht and George Garecht, both of Lodi; sister, Mary 
Rimes, of Douglas, Ga.; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Aurelia Garecht in 1949.

A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home with 
Pastor Dale Edwards officiating. Committal will follow. Visitation will be held 
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral 
home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
