Rose MacPherson 
Rose Viola MacPherson, 76, of Galt, died March 4 at her residence following a 
lengthy illness. She was born May 23, 1928, in Brockton, Mass.

Mrs. MacPherson lived in Massachusettes, Carson City, Nev. and Napa before 
settling in Galt for the last 20 years. She worked as a seamstress before her 
employment at River Oaks Elementary School as an administrative assistant. She 
was a member of New Hope Assemblies of God Church, where she was a women's 
ministry leader and Sunday school superintendent. She enjoyed needlepoint, 
sewing and socializing with friends and neighbors. 

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Wager, of Nevada, and the Rev. Richard 
Wager, of Idaho; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Assemblies of God with 
Pastor Davis Ross officiating. Committal will follow at the Galt Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
