Jack was an outstanding baseball and football player at St. Mary's High School and later was known as a top pitcher in Northern California Open Division Softball League. He was an avid bowler and loved to dance. He was the son of the late Ernesto and Janet Ojeda and the late Maurice and Leora Stanfield. He is survived by his sister, Judi Auwinger of Stockton; his brother, Terry Ojeda of NV and two children, Virginia and Joseph. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ernie Ojeda, Jr. and Darrell Ojeda. All three brothers died from the same neurological disease. He is also survived by his personal caretaker and best friend, Susan Guadagnolo and his good friends, Frank Lozano and Bobby Punta. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA All are invited for a Celebration of Jack's Life, following the service. There will be no visitation and committal will be private. Donations in Jack's name may be made to the Leora Stanfield Scholarship Fund for college bound students c/o St. Mary's High School, P.O. Box 7247, Stockton, CA 95267-0247.
