Pappas Feb. 24, 1923 - March 1, 2005 George W. Pappas, 82, died surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 1, 2005. George was born February 24, 1923 in Manteca, CA. He served proudly in the US Navy during WWII. George worked for Carnation Milk for 23 years and Leprino Foods for 17 years before retiring in 1988. He was also a member of SIR's branch #87, BPOE Lodge #218 of Stockton and American Legion Post #16. He will be missed (but always in our hearts) by his wife of 50 years, Lois. Dedicated father to his son, Ken Arnold Jr. and daughter, Rachelle Pappas. Dear brother of Georgia Taylor and Monda Gross. His memory lives on in his grandchildren: Christine Whitaker (Eddie), Quinn Miller (Rebecca), Drew Miller, Michael Ulm, Mandy Ulm (Rick), Clay Arnold, as well as his great-grandchildren: Alyssa Crown, Tristen Whitaker, Ricky Rivera and Zoe Whitaker. He was the cherished uncle of John Taylor and numerous nieces and nephews. He is now reunited with his daughter, Kay McNally; his sister, Venus Torreano and his parents, Eva and William Pappas. As per George's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Walton Booster Club c/o 4131 N.
