Elda Josephine Brennan

Jan. 24, 1909 - February 27, 2005



Mrs. Elda Josephine Brennan, 96, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2005 in 
Stockton. Elda was born in Italy, and she come to Stockton in 1912 and has been 
a Stockton resident for the past 93 years. Elda last worked for Sportland 
Liquors in Stockton for 15 years as a cashier.
Elda is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Brennan, her son, Joe Benincasa, 
Jr., her siblings, Dominic Tavella, Tony Tavella and Melvina Casagrande.
She is survived by her son, Rudy Benincasa and wife, Dottie of Florida, her 
daughter-in-law, Janie Benincasa, her grandchildren, Alisa Behn, Greg and Gary 
Benincasa and her great-grandchildren, Lauren Lukas, Aric and Nicholas 
Benincasa.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 7, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 
Wallace-Martin Funeral Home located at 520 N. Sutter St. in Stockton and a 
Graveside Service will be held on Monday March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the San 
Joaquin Catholic Cemetery. For further information contact the funeral home at
