Josephine Marie Shedd

March 13, 1920 - March 2, 2005



Josephine Marie Shedd, 84, of Lodi passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in a 
local hospital. She was born March 13, 1920 in San Francisco and has resided in 
Lodi for the past 50 years. Mrs. Shedd completed college receiving a B.A. 
degree in teaching. She taught for five years before marriage then became co-
owner with her husband of "O.K. Flower Shed" in Stockton for many years prior 
to retirement.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #150 of Lodi and also 
belonged to the ladies auxiliaries of all the Masonic and Shrine organizations 
that her late husband belonged to. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing 
cards and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Shedd and a son, Roger Charles 
Shedd. Survived by: 1 son, Ronald E. Shedd of Merced; 1 daughter, Marta J. 
Shedd-Paras of Acampo; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of 
Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 5 
p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
