Loreto Ruiz Zapien 
September 7, 1928 - March 3, 2005



Loreto Ruiz Zapien, 76, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005. A native of 
Mexico, Loreto was born on September 7, 1928. 
Loreto, beloved wife of the late Victor Zapien; loving mother of Dolores 
Martinez, Juan Francisco Zapien, Aurelio Zapien, Victor Zapien Jr., Rosalio 
Zapien, Maria Z. Vargas, and Fernando Zapien, all of Stockton; dear sister of 
Concepcion Lopez Ruiz of Mexico; grandmother of 26, and great-grandmother of 12.
Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 9:00 
a.m. from the Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home, 303 S. California St., Stockton 
thence to St. George's Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. A 
Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Mortuary Chapel. 
Visitation will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Committal at San Joaquin 
Catholic Cemetery.
