He was born Sept. 23, 1915, in Lamar, Ark. Mr. Bradley worked in the Alameda Shipyards during World War II. He worked at the Civilian Conservation Corps in Idaho, and then worked as a welder for Shell Oil Refinery in Martinez for 35 years until his retirement in 1978. He was an avid gardener, and enjoyed storytelling and good jokes. He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Dunn, of Lodi and Kathleen Bradley, of Fairfield; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clover Bradley in 1993; and son David Bradley in 1989. A private inurnment will be held at the Concord Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord.
