Emil Bieber


Emil Bieber, 85, of Elk Grove and formerly of Lodi, died July 11 in his home. 
He was born Sept. 3, 1918, in Bowdle, S.D.

Mr. Bieber lived in Lodi for 42 years until he moved to Elk Grove in 1985. He 
had an accounting background and owned Bieber Oldsmobile in Lodi. He was a 
member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Elk Grove. He enjoyed playing cards and 
the accordion. He also enjoyed woodworking, golf and model trains.

He is survived by his son, Ron Bieber, of Elk Grove; daughters, Carolyn Fulton 
and Sandi Smoak, both of Elk Grove; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren 
and six great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 8701 
Elk Grove-Florin Road, Elk Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Lutheran 
Church for the debt retirement fund.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
