Fred Hohenstein


Fred Junior Hohenstein, 70, of Tigard, Ore. and formerly of Lodi, died July 10 
in a Oregon hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1933, in Bancroft, Neb.

Mr. Hohenstein lived in Lodi until he relocated to Tigard, Ore. six years ago. 
He worked in street maintenance for the City of Lodi for 30 years. He is a 
former governor of the Lodi Moose Lodge, where he earned his fellowship degree. 
He was also a former member of the Sherwood Elks. He enjoyed camping and was an 
avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Hohenstein, of Tigard, Ore.; sons, Richard 
Hurrle, of Deer Valley, Ariz., and Robert S. Naper, of Escicodo; daughter, Rose 
Rollins, of El Cajon; and five grandchildren.

Services and inurnment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Young's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
