Born in Seattle, Mr. Hora lived in San Ramon four years, and before that he lived in Tacoma, Wash. He was a retired sales representative for several furniture companies. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, serving during World War II. Mr. Hora was a Lutheran. He was a past member of the Elks and Lions clubs of Washington. He was an avid golfer and loved to dance and play bridge. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Mr. Hora is survived by his wife of 57 years, Velma Hora; three daughters, Michele Axelson, and her husband, Doug, of Tracy, Paula Jo Haltom, and her husband, Chris, of Tacoma, and Jo Carol Raymond, and her husband, Jim, of Highland Falls, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
