Jacqueline O’Malia Prevette
Oct. 3, 1937 — July 14, 2004

Funeral services will be Monday for Jacqueline O’Malia Prevette, 66, who died 
Wednesday at Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton.
Born in Oakland, she grew up in Fremont, Union City and Livermore. She 
graduated from Livermore High School in 1955 and Highland Hospital School of 
Nursing in Oakland in 1959. She lived in Livermore 28 years.
A registered nurse, she worked for many years at various Bay Area hospitals, 
including UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital, Kaiser 
Permanente Hayward Medical Center, Washington Hospital in Fremont and Highland 
Hospital in Oakland.
She enjoyed photography, music and watching the San Francisco Giants on TV.
She is survived by two sisters, Geraldine O’Malia of Tracy and Patricia O’Malia 
of Santa Clara; a brother, John O’Malia, and his wife, Nancy, of Albuquerque, 
N.M.; two nephews, Michael and Todd O’Malia of Albuquerque; a niece, Kelly 
Bacon of Yorktown, Va.; two great-nephews and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eva O’Malia.
Monday’s service will begin at 11 a.m. at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, 3070 
East Ave., in Livermore, where visitation will be observed from 5 to 9 p.m. 
Sunday. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, 1240 N. Livermore Ave., in 
Livermore.
Memorial contributions in Ms. Prevette’s name may be made to a favorite charity 
or spiritual bouquet.
