Candis Hinsz


Candis Kay Hinsz, 42, of Lodi, died July 20 in her home. She was born July 26, 
1961, in Lodi.

Ms. Hinsz was a lifelong resident of Lodi. She attended local schools, and 
graduated from Lodi High School in 1979. She graduated with an Associate of 
Arts degree from Humphrey's College in Stockton. She was employed for 20 years 
as a clerical assistant in shipping and warehousing. She enjoyed boating and 
camping, especially at Big Sur.

She is survived by her father, Glenn Hinsz, of Lodi; sister, Deanna Jones, of 
Lodi; and nephew, Cory Jones, of Lodi.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Hinsz.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Lodi Elks Lodge, 
19071 N. Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge. Inurnment will be private at 
Cherokee Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
