Eldon H. Dooley May 29, 1922 — May 11, 2004 Services will be private for longtime Tracy resident and retired farm machinery mechanic Eldon H. Dooley, 81, who died Tuesday at his Tracy home. A native of West Virginia, Mr. Dooley lived in Tracy since 1956. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Dooley enjoyed taking trips to West Virginia, spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Dooley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nina Mae Dooley; three children, Lorna Dooley, and her companion, Paul Pyle, of Tracy, John Dooley, and his wife, Janet, of Ripon, and Herbert Dooley, and his wife, Arlene, of Dayton, Nev.; seven siblings, Ruth Guinn of Leivasy, W.V., Darla Rader of Summersville, W.V., Gerald Dooley of Mt. Nebo, W.V., David Dooley of Nettie, W.V., Velda Lanahan of Baltimore; Louise Meyers of Edinburg, Va., and Retha Thomas of Sissonville, W.V.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Memorial contributions in Mr. Dooley’s name may be made to Sutter VNA Hospice, 4600 S. Tracy Blvd., Ste. 101, Tracy 95376. Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
