Joyce Elaine Gravelle, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. She was 
born on April 8, 1926 in Fresno, CA. She was a member of Harmony Baptist 
Church, TOPS; she was active in programs such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and 
P.T.A. as her children grew up.
Joyce was the beloved wife of 63 years of Paul R. Gravelle; loving mother of 
Faithe Gravelle of Albany, OR, Yvonne Privett of Stockton, Toni Smith of 
Modesto and the late Paul G. Gravelle; cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren 
and 16 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Cherokee 
Memorial Park, Hwy. 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 1:00 
p.m.
Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. 
Stockton on Thursday 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 
Committal: Cherokee Memorial Park.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine Ave., Stockton, 
CA 95204.
