Howard E. Green 
Dec. 31, 1934 - March 24, 2005
 
Howard E. Green, age 70, a Hanford resident, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 
2005 at his home. Howard was born on December 31, 1934 in Yamhill County, 
Oregon. He lived for many years in Oregon and Washington. In the late 1970's he 
moved to Stockton where he helped found Green Electric and he later worked with 
California Human Development and the State of California. Howard will be 
remembered for his friendliness, generosity and love of teaching. He never knew 
a stranger and loved people.
Howard was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Ottinger Green; father, 
William A. Green; brother, Kenneth W. Green and sister, Virginia Green 
Phenniger.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Green; sons and daughters, Rodney Green, 
Cindy Costa, Bradley Green and Sherry Hunt. He is survived by brothers, Gary 
and Vern Green and sisters, Norma McNabb and Lois Roberts. He is survived by 
numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and step-children.
A Memorial Service will he held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at: Lodi 
Memorial Park & Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi, CA 95240. Remembrances may be 
made to: Kings Care Hospice, Hanford Community Medical Center, 823 W. Lacey 
Blvd., Hanford, CA 93230 or Hanford Salvation Army.
