"Bud" Grenz, 82, of Lodi, died June 18 in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Durham, Kan., where he was raised on a ranch. Mr. Grenz served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a resident of Lodi for 60 years, where he attended the Kettleman Lane Community Church of the Nazarene and the Lodi Community Church. He worked as a millwright for 35 years, and enjoyed working with wood around the house and in the yard. Vernon Grenz He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ann Grenz, of Lodi; sons, Rodney Reiswig, of Navarre, Fla., and Larry Grenz, of Lodi; daughters, Annette Arnston- Evans and Bernadette Quenzer, both of Lodi; 14 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, M.L. Grenz; and great-granddaughter, Jessica Quenzer. Services will be private and interment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park.
