Lily Gundert 
Lily G. Gundert, 91, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and formerly of Lodi, died April 20 
at the home of her son in Idaho Falls. She was born Feb. 5, 1914, in Oakdale, 
where she was raised and graduated from Oakdale High School.

Mrs. Gundert married Marvin Gundert in 1940 in Reno, Nev. She was employed by 
J.C. Penny's, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church 
in Lodi. She enjoyed reading and watching movies. 

She is survived by her sons, William Gundert and Roger Gundert, both of Idaho 
Falls, Idaho; sisters, Daisy Bianchi and Mary Jane Cox, both of Oakdale; six 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Gundert; sister, Ione 
Corrigan; twin brothers, Oliver & Owen Muscio; and grandson, Jeff Gundert.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1845 S. 
Ham Lane, Lodi, with Pastor Paul Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be held 
from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. 
School St., Lodi.

Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
