Mrs. Podrasky, known to family and friends as Jean, was born in Bayard, Neb. She moved to Tracy in 1935 with her parents, Frank and Edna Hoyt, and her brother, Bob. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1944. Her father was a San Joaquin County supervisor from 1960 to 1972, representing south San Joaquin County. Mrs. Podrasky lived in Livermore 29 years, where she was a homemaker and volunteer at Valley Memorial Hospital. Later, she was a buyer for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. She had lived in Ripon 18 years. She was an avid traveler to Europe and the United States. She loved flowers, especially her husband’s roses. Mrs. Podrasky is survived by her husband, Joseph Podrasky, of Ripon; children, Roger Noack, and his wife, Jean, of Chesapeake, Va., Cynthia J. Dipietro, and her husband, Lawrence, of Livermore, Russell Noack, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Eldorado Hills, and Thomas Podrasky; a brother, Bob Hoyt, and his wife, Mary, of Atascadero; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Monday’s Mass will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St., in Manteca. A rosary will be recited 10 a.m. Monday at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S. Palm Ave. Interment will be in Tracy Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Podrasky’s name may be sent to St. Vincent De Paul Society, 505 E. North St., Manteca 95336.
