Violet Rose Huffman

Violet Rose Huffman, of Lockeford, CA, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2005 
in Stockton, CA., after a short illness. Mrs. Huffman was born in Jackson, CA, 
on January 10, 1921. 

Over the years she was involved in caring for foster children. Her and Her 
husband, had B&H Lumber in Oakland, CA. C&L Lumber in Lockeford, CA and Central 
Valley Building Supply in Clements, CA. She enjoyed her time helping at the 
Lockeford Senior Center and the bus trips to the Casino with the Senior Center. 

She is survived by her six children, Bertha Morecraft and husband, William of 
El Dorado Hills, CA, George Frost and wife, Marietta of Lockeford, CA, John 
Frost and wife, Judy of Tracy, CA, Patricia Bonner and husband, Skip of 
Lockeford, CA, Ed Roberts and wife, Danni of Concord, CA, Carolyn Gleason of 
Valley Springs, CA; nineteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Huffman; daughter, Carol Frost; 
and grandson, Rodney Frost. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. at 
Glenview Cemetery located on Mackville Road in Clements, CA.
