Lodi News-Sentinel
Arlene Ira Hust, 75, of Lodi, died on Feb 7 in a local hospital after a short 
illness.  She was born on Aug 8, 1923, in Artas, S.D., where she was raised 
and attended schools.  She moved to Lodi in 1941.
  She married Arthur Hust on Jan. 23, 1944, in Lodi where they resided until 
1950 when they moved to Stockton.  Mrs. Hust moved back to Lodi in 1992.
  She was employed at a bookkeeper for G.G. Hust and Sons Plumbing Co. for 10 
years.
  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lodi.
  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, church activities and socializing 
with her family and her grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hust in 1981.
  She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hust of Lodi; a son, Rick Hust of 
Fairfield; a brother, Dennis Krueg of Sacramento; two grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren.
  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cherokee Memorial 
Park with pastors Steve Newman, Ray Hoffman and Merle Brenner of First Baptist 
Church of Lodi officiating.
