Elsie Evelyn Hammerstrom 
February 5, 1911 - March 28, 2005



Elsie Evelyn Hammerstrom, a life-long resident of Stockton, California, passed 
away on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the age of 94 years. She was born on February 
5, 1911 in Stockton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. A member of St. 
Michael's Catholic Church in Stockton and a past member of the Linden Lions 
Club and the Lodi Italian Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Hyllis Hammerstrom of 
Stockton; the loving mother of 3 daughters, Sandra Schenonc of Foster City, 
Diana Winsborrow of Stockton and Terri Hammerstrom of Lodi; 2 sisters, Irene 
Edwards of Stockton and Jessie Smith of Salida; 4 grandchildren, Kirk, Kip, 
Kimberly and Angela; also 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by siblings, 
Ernest Landucci, Edith Sander and Eleanor Simas.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael's 
Catholic Church, 5882 N. Ashley Lane, Stockton. Inurnment will be private in 
Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
