Modesto Ramos Hernandez

  Modesto "Joe" Ramos Hernandez, passed away on May 22, 2005 in Sacramento, he 
was 73 years old. 
  Joe was born March 3, 1932 in Jalisco, Mexico. 
  He lived in Calistoga from 1950's to 1987 working for Kaiser Steel in Napa. 
He then moved to Acampo, CA in 1987, working as a vine-yard manager for 18 
years. 
  He was former member of the Napa Moose Lodge. He loved gardening, playing 
cribbage and his pets, Dino and Oso. 
  Joe loved his family very much and was respected by everyone.
  He is survived by his wife of 34 years of marriage, Shirley Hernandez of 
Acampo; sons Luis Hernandez & wife, Vickie of Napa, Steve Garner of 
Bakersfield; daughters Maria Hernandez Ramirez & husband, Manuel of Napa, Nancy 
Sagadin & husband, Jim of Oregon; daughter in law Tanya Mufich of Santa Rosa. 
Grandchildren; Anthony & Michael Hernandez (Anthony is in the Marines & Michael 
in the Air Force, Modesto was very proud of them both), Breanna Ramirez, Jason 
& Nathan Sagadin, Brooke Garner; also numerous nieces & nephews in Mexico.
  Friends may pay respects on Thursday May 26, 2005 at Morrison Funeral Chapel, 
990 Vintage Ave., St. helena, CA from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 
7:00 p.m.
  The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the 
St. Helena Catholic Church, 1340 Tainter St., St. Helena, CA. Burial at St. 
Helena Cemetry. 
   Memorials may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, C/O Judy Miller, P.O. 
Box 67947, Albuquerque, NM 87193.
