He was born May 9, 1959, in Palo Alto. Mr. Hibbard moved to Wisconsin with his family while he was in high school. Following his graduation, he returned to Wilton. He met his wife, Debra at his brother's wedding in 1988 and they were married in 1990. They made their home on the river in Walnut Grove before moving to Galt in 1995. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he worked with the youth and the Boy Scout program. He enjoyed camping, boating and any kind of recreational activity that involved a large group of people. He also enjoyed all kinds of music. He is survived by his wife, Debra Hibbard, of Galt; daughters, Katlin and Rebecca Hibbard; son, Michael Hibbard; sisters, Kim Rotweiler, of Wilton and Carrie Parkin, of Galt; brothers, Jeff Hibbard, of Elk Grove and Kirtus Hibbard, of Camus, Wash.; parents, Homer and Neysa Hibbard, of Wilton; and grandmother, Mildred Hibbard, of Wilton. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at the corner of Vintage Oak and Carillion Blvd., Galt. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. today. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
