Tahnja Homer 
Tahnja LaRee Homer, 42, of Galt, died April 1 in Lodi. She was born June 10, 
1962, in French Camp.

On Oct, 17, 1981, she married Thomas Homer in Reno. She had been a pre-school 
teacher, working for Happy Hours Pre-school in Lodi. 

She worked in pre-school care for 10 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and 
daughter.





Tahnja Homer
She enjoyed painting and loved working with her class of three-year-olds. She 
adored her dog, Derby. She was a member of River of Life Celebration Center in 
Galt.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Homer, of Galt; sons, Andrew and Clayton 
Homer, of Galt; sister, Fonda Chapman, of Galt; mother and step-father, Kathie 
and Aubrey, of Lodi; and father and step-mother, Orval and Gail Farmer, of 
Georgia.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 at Lodi Funeral Home with 
Pastor Larry Brand of River of Life Celebration Center officiating. Committal 
will immediately follow. There is no visitation. Memorial contributions may be 
made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204-1953. A 
virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com. Lodi Funeral 
Home is in charge of the arrangements.
