She was born September 1, 1931 in Santa Monica and had resided in Lodi since 1984. Tita was employed as a licensed Psychiatric technician at Camarillo State Hospital and Agnew State Hospital. She married Earl Hutchens in Lodi in September 1996. Tita was very involved with Mended Hearts Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those who had heart surgery or cardiac problems. She was past president of Meneded Hearts, Chapter 40 of Stockton, past assistant regional director, past regional director and was currently National Vice President of Mended Hearts Inc. Tita was instrumental in the foundation of the Little Mended Hearts Inc. which was dedicated to helping children who had experienced heart surgery. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lodi, Ila Neb Court #51 of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and a member of the TLC Unit of Ila Neb Court, Alicante Branch of Lodi Memorial Hospital auxiliary and Ladies of the Moose. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Naumann. She is survived by her husband Earl of Lodi; sons, Michael Naumann of Idaho and Don Naumann of Cupertino; daughters, Carleen Smith of Lake Elsinore and Leann Schaeffer of San Jose; step- children, Nadene Herndon of Fair Oaks and Sandy Hutchens of Lodi; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Alan Kimber officiating. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to: Mended Hearts Inc., 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75231-4596.
