Jane Imada 
Jane Imada, 79, of Acampo died May 26 in a local convalescent hospital. She was 
born July 3, 1925, in Sacramento, and moved to Acampo in 1948.

Mrs. Imada was a housewife and helped her husband in her vineyards. She was a 
member of the Buddhist Church of Lodi, the Fujinaki and the Japanese-American 
Citizens League. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jun Imada of Acampo; a son, Guy 
Imada of Oregon; a daughter, Jane Byington of Alameda; a sister, Marjorie Oda 
of Sacramento; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Buddhist Church of 
Lodi with Rev. Kenshin Fujimoto officiating. Private inurnment will be held at 
Cherokee Memorial Park.

Friends may sign the family memorial registry from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 
from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 
Industrial Way near Beckman Road, Lodi.
