Richard Lee Johnson
April 24, 1945 — Nov. 24, 2005

A memorial service will be Sunday for 19-year Tracy resident Richard Lee 
Johnson, 60, who died Nov. 24 at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto.

Born in Muncie, Ind., Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971 
and was an auto worker at New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. 13 years. He was 
a member of Tracy Wildlife for three years, and wherever he was, he made 
friends. 

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sandra Johnson of Tracy; son, 
Bryan Johnson of Manteca; stepchildren, Catherine and Eric Johnson, both of 
Tracy; brothers, Ronald Johnson of Corning and Danny Johnson, both of 
Stockton; and grandchild, Jessica Johnson-Tryon of Tracy.

Sunday’s memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at Seventh-day Adventist 
Church, 2025 Holly Drive.
