Vashti Doris James 
Aug. 30, 1937 - March 5, 2005



Vashti Doris James, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2005. She was born in 
New Haven, Connecticut. Vashti enjoyed singing, cooking and computers and was a 
big fan of Humphrey Bogart. She was a retired office manager of K-Mart in San 
Mateo.
She is survived by children, Frederick H. James of Roxbury, MA, Gilbert H. 
James of Lynn MA, Vance D. James and wife, Martina of Manteca, Dale D. James of 
Boston, MA, Dolly James of Boston, MA, Mark James of Fremont, CA, Crissy Correy 
of San Antonio, TX, Eric James of Manteca, Hedy James and Holly James, both of 
San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Dolores Kenney of San Antonio, TX 
and William Pettaway of Boston, MA.
There will be no services.
Behold God, the only one greater than yourself. Now, rest in peace, Ma.
