Twila "Ginger" V. Jolly 

October 1, 1947 - March 9, 2005



Twila "Ginger" V. Jolly, 57 of Jackson and formerly of Stockton, passed away on 
Thursday, March 9, 2005 in a Sacramento hospital. She was born October 1, 1947 
in Stockton and after high school began a career with the county which spanned 
38 years. She retired from the San Joaquin County Welfare Department on October 
1, of 2004. Ginger enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting and her 
animals. She loved her family and was actively involved with MADD and was a 
member of Beta Sigma PHI.
Survivors: Son, Tim Rollins of Stockton; sister, Tiffany Jolly-Mathews and her 
husband, Michael of Stockton; aunt, Betty Grimm of Stockton; brother-in-law, 
Johnnie Ellis of Stockton; 3 nephews; 2 nieces; 4 great nieces; 1 great nephew. 
Her parents, James and Twila Jolly and sister, Patti Elllis precede her in 
death.
Friends and co-workers are invited to attend a celebration of her life on 
Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 3 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial 
Park in Lodi. Inurnment will be private in Stockton. There will be no 
visitation at her request and Cherokee Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.
Donations may be made in her name to MADD at P.O. Box 691237, Stockton, CA 
95269-1237. The American Heart Association at 1212 W. Robinhood Dr. Stockton, 
CA 95207 or the American Diabetes Foundation at P.O. Box 2680 North Canton, OH 
44720.
