Laurice Joseph 
July 6, 1913 - March 12, 2005



Mrs. Laurice Joseph, 91, a native of Colorado, passed away at her residence on 
Saturday, March 12, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. She died from 
complications of Parkinson's Disease. Laurice moved to Stockton in 1988 to be 
with her family. She was an avid poker player and had master points in bridge. 
Mrs. Joseph, a wonderful cook, loved to entertain and especially loved being 
with her family. She will be missed by all.
She was the wife of the late Joe G. Joseph, and loving mother of Marie Barkett 
and her husband, Joseph, Jolene Michaels and her husband, Maurice, Michele 
Koussaya, all of Stockton and Michael Joseph and his wife, Paula of Roseville. 
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the 
dear sister of Esma Basha.
DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton, CA is in charge of 
arrangements.
At her request there will be no visitation or services. Committal will be at 
Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights CA.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Mary's High School, P.O. Box 
7247, Stockton, CA 95267-0247 or a charity of your choice.
