She was born to Andrew and Sophia Bibelheimer on November 16, 1909, in Shelby, South Dakota, raised on the farm in Linton, North Dakota and later Bradock, N.D. Martha was married to Albert H. Krueg on May 1, 1936 in Lodi and they made their home in Lodi. She was employed by Stokely Van Camp Cannery in the cafeteria as a cook’s manager fro 1945-1967 when she retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lodi and was active in the Women’s Missionary Fellowship in the church. In the past, she and Albert were active in the Ray School 4-H Club and the Air Stream Trailer Club. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, salmon fishing, and she and Albert spent many summers in Fort Bragg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Krueg on August 15, 2001; son, Dennis Krueg; grandson, Dean Schmierer; siblings Herbert and Albert Bibelheimer, and Ruth Daniels. Martha is survived by a son, Glenn; daughter, Diana Schmierer; siblings, Paul Bibelheimer and Esther Walker; three grandchildren and seven great- grandchldren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Lane, Lodi, followed by a private committal in Garden of Last Supper Cherokee Memorial Park. Pastor Wayne Bibelheimer, nephew of Martha’s will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14, 1:00-6:00 p.m. and Monday, Oct 15, 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Indusrial Way, near Beckman Rd., Lodi. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Fellowship, 267 N. Mills Ave., Lodi CA 95242.
