Born in Roberts, Mont., Mrs. Davidson was a second-generation Finnish American and lived in Tracy for 45 years. She was fond of animals, especially her Siamese cats. She loved her home and enjoyed working in her garden. She was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and liked to play slot machines in Reno, Nev. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She always found the good in people and never gave up on those with problems. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Davidson is survived by her children, Arlene Forrest, and her husband, David L., of Lucerne Valley, Robert G. Davidson, and his wife, Susan, of Bellflower, Dave Davidson of Stockton, Jack Davidson of Tracy; sibling, Leola Barnett of Cody, Wyo.; grandchildren, Regina Stewart of Starr, Idaho, Shamy Turner of San Pedro, Rick Barham of Shelton, Wash., Sonna Jorge of Plantation, Fla., David L. Forrest II of Lucerne Valley, Denise Graham of Manteca, Nicole Frontino of Tracy, Robert N. Davidson of Long Beach, Matt Davidson of Fresno, Jack Outly of Tracy, Nathan Davidson of Stockton, Andy Davidson of Redding, Tyler Davidson of Tracy; son-in-law, Scott Barham of Tracy; 12 great- grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert N. Davidson; parents, Jonas Kungas and Senia Rentala; daughter Bess Barham; siblings, Sylvia Sanders, Elsie Snyder, Matt Kungas and Waino Kungas; grandson David Barham; and daughter-in-law Carolyn Davidson. Friday’s graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. at Tracy Cemetery. Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W.
