Barbara Joyce Lawson

Aug. 22, 1927 — Nov. 2, 2005

A celebration of life was held for Barbara Joyce Lawson, 78, who died 
Wednesday at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Mrs. Lawson was born in Pontiac, Mich., and she lived in Hilmar for 15 years.

She worked as a nurse’s aide. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and 
great-grandmother. She loved reading and especially gardening and being with 
her family.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Lawson, of Hilmar; 
children, Cathy Lawson of Hilmar, Jackie Reinhart, and her husband, Bill, of 
Pennsylvania, David Lawson, and his wife, Deb, of El Dorado Hills; and Lori 
Gouveia, and her husband, Ron, and John Lawson, and his wife, Lela, all of 
Tracy; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Mrs. Lawson’s name may be sent to the American Cancer 
Society, 207 E. Alpine, Stockton 95204.
