Karl Liebelt, 82
Taken By Death in Local Hospital
Karl Liebelt, 82, Lodi, died yesterday morning in a local hospital after a 
long illness.
   Born in Russia, Mr. Liebelt came to the Lodi area in 1959 after farming for 
40 years in Cleveland N. D.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christina Liebelt, Lodi, and seven 
children, Mrs. Alice Reiswig, Lodi; Mrs. Esther Gruzzie, Robert Liebelt, Mrs. 
Olga Hieb, and Mrs. Dolores Miller, all of North Dakota; Elder Arthur H. 
Liebelt, Mo; and Elder Ben J. Liebelt, Colo.  There were 17 grandchildren and 
one great grandchild.
  He was the brother of Robert Liebelt, Mrs. Lidia Lingenbeil, and Mrs. Amanda 
Vettrick, all of Germany.  He was a member of the Fairmont Seventh-day 
Adventist Church.
  Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Fairmont Seventh-day 
Adventist Church with Elders Ed Koenig and F. F. Schwindt officiating.  Burial 
will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
  Friends may call at the Lodi Funeral Home until noon Friday.
