Isabel V. Lopez

July 8, 1938 — March 12, 2006

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday for Delta Island School 
District teacher’s aide Isabel V. Lopez, 67, of Stockton, who died Sunday in 
Stockton.

Born in Kyle, Texas, Mrs. Lopez lived in Stockton 33 years and was previously 
of Tracy 27 years. She was a teacher’s aide at Delta Island School District 20 
years. She loved shopping and going on outings to Jackson Rancheria. She 
enjoyed cooking. She especially loved spending time with her family and 
grandchildren.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas A. Lopez of 
Stockton; children, Thomas J. Lopez of Stockton, Grace L. Imbrunetti of 
Salida, Carlos Lopez and Mary Lou Lopez, both of San Francisco; siblings, John 
Vasquez, Ignacio Vasquez, Felix Vasquez, and Joe Vasquez, all of Tracy, and 
Epie Cardona and Mary Donato, both of Stockton, and Mike Vasquez of Nevada; 
grandchildren, Marialisa Lopez and Julianna Lopez, both of Stockton, and 
Gabriel T. Imbrunetti of Salida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fausto and Frutoza Vasquez; and 
siblings Reymundo Vasquez and Guadaleupe Acosta.

Tuesday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 
W. Eaton Ave. Visitation will be observed from noon to 7 p.m. Monday at Fry 
Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., followed by a rosary recital at 7.

Contributions in Mrs. Lopez’s name may be sent to a charity of the donor’s 
choice.
