Dale Lambson 
Dale W. Lambson, 85, of Newman and formerly of Galt, died May 27 in Newman. He 
was born Nov. 20, 1919, in Baily, Mich.

Master Srgt. Lambson served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a veteran of World 
War II and Korea. Following his retirement from the Marines after 22 years, he 
worked for Wells Fargo Bank for 15 years until his retirement. He lived in Galt 
for many years before settling in Newman. 

He is survived by his wife, Edith Lambson; daughters, Kathleen A. Cook and 
Margaret L. Romaneko; sons, Dale W. Lambson II and Jerry Westfall; brother, 
Gene Lambson; sister, Marian Smith; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Ben Salas Funeral Home. Committal 
follow at Galt Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes 
Foundation.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
