She was born May 20, 1917 in Richmond, CA and lived in Acampo for 85 years before moving to Lodi 2 1/2 years ago. Mrs. Leventini attended Bruella School and graduated from Lodi Union High School. Marguerite was a homemaker and vineyardist. She enjoyed gardening and loved to can and freeze her fruit and vegetables. She also raised beautiful flowers and entered them in the Grape Festival and county fair. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to bake and cook Italian food and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mrs. Leventini was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Camillo T. Leventini, Sr. and by her parents, Catherine and John Molinengo. Survived by: 2 daughters, Joyce (James) Saco of Acampo, Jeannette (Walter) Shoup of Acampo; 1 son, Camillo (Joanne) Leventini Jr. of Acampo; 1 sister, Francis (Don) Caroni of Santa Maria; brother-in-law, Ted (Violet) Leventini of Acampo; 8 grandsons, James (LaVone) Saco Jr., John (Tonya) Shoup, Michael (Jennifer) Shoup, Peter and Philip Shoup, Nick, Dean and Dario (Natalie) Leventini; 8 great- grandchildren, Makayla and Joslyne Saco, Dario, Dante, Julio and Drue Leventini, Christopher and Nathan Shoup. Funeral Services will begin Friday, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Gierhart- Wells & Donahue Funeral Home then proceed to St. Anne's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. A Vigil Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
