Arnaldo ‘Alex’ Martinez 

July 28, 1952 — Nov. 26, 2005

Graveside services will be Saturday for longtime, former Tracy resident 
Arnaldo “Alex” Martinez, 53, who died Nov. 26 in Susanville.

Mr. Martinez lived in Tracy 40 years, and then in Anderson for four years. He 
served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974 and worked at Tracy Defense Depot 
later in life. He was a Pittsburg Steelers fan, and a loving grandfather of 
11. He was a very good man to everyone he met. He leaves behind many friends 
and relatives and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Martinez is survived by his son, Arnold Martinez Jr. of Tracy; daughter, 
Sabrina A. Martinez-Davis, and her husband, Tommy, of Concord; brother, Ralph 
Martinez, and his wife, Alice, of Anderson; sisters, Clamencia Cardenas and 
her husband, Domingo, of Stockton, Mary Martinez of Tracy, Marylou Patino and 
her husband, Catalino, of San Fernando, Mercedes Silva of San Jose and Alice 
Martinez of Arizona; and grandchildren, Michael Anguiano Jr., Tommy Jr., 
Sabrina, Christina, Dominique and Brianna Davis, all of Concord, and Shalena, 
Felicia, Alezis R., Nicole R. and Arnold Martinez III, all of Manteca; and 
grandmother, Gran Anzo of Weed. 


He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Antonia Martinez; brother, 
Jesse Martinez; and grandmother, Mercedes Acobo. 
Saturday’s graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. in Tracy Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the family.
