Stanley Maylone
Stanley Elwin Maylone, 90, of Lodi, died Nov. 12 in Stockton. He was born Oct. 
23, 1915, in the southern El Dorado County community of Fairplay

He married Ida Fredrickson on Sept. 21, 1938, in Martinez. They later 
solemnized their marriage vows on Sept. 2, 1995, at the Oakland Temple of the 
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Mr. Maylone was production supervisor for U.S. Steel Corp. for 30 years. A Lodi 
resident since 1987, Mr. Maylone was a member of the Lodi Second Ward of the 
Latter-day Saints church.





Stanley Maylone
He is survived by his son, Gordon Stanley Maylone, of Concord; daughter, 
Marilyn Lee Byrne, of San Ramon; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Maylone; and sister, Gladys Dean.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter-day Saints, 1510 W. Century Blvd., Lodi. Committal will follow. 
Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lodi Funeral Home.
