Jerry Morgan
Jerry T. Morgan, 87, of Galt, died Sept. 24 in a local convalescent hospital. 
He was born Nov. 29, 1917, in Byron.

Mr. Morgan was a World War II Veteran and worked for the State of California as 
a brand inspector for eight years. 

He owned a ranch in Ione and raised cattle until his retirement in 1982.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gayle Morgan, of Galt; son, Jerry 
Morgan, Jr., of Fallhouse; daughter, Ellen, of Cameron Park; three grandsons 
and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Three Palms Mobile 
Home Park, 604 Pringle Ave., Galt.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
